"Make a movie about almost anything with almost nothing"

"The Old German Church" was the first film produced by the second society to be screened publicly. A micro-documentary shot under One Hour Cinema requirements, "The Old German Church" is the story of a religious landmark in Brookefield, WI

One Hour Cinema

The original One Hour Cinema (OHC) style is a filmmaking style where the film goes from pre-production through completion in one hour or less. The second society completed three films in this style, however "The Old German Church" is the only one that has been released and may be the only one which still exists.

The second society is considering a future feature-length project that will be filmed using modified OHC rules but at this point these plans are only tenative.

Where you can see it
